The aquatics center is an integral part of District56, a multi-use event, athletic center and nature preserve serving the community of Elk Grove and it’s surrounding cities! Be sure to take a look around and see what your families can do in-between races, prelims and finals sessions. The space has plenty to offer everyone!
PARKING AND DROPOFF
You can park in the main parking lot adjacent to the facility and the overflow lot! Please DO NOT PARK in the neighborhood across from the aquatic center. We want to be good neighbors. RVs and Busses please park on the far side of the lot away from the aquatic center entrance to allow clear lanes for dropping off athletes and spectators
KEEP THESE ITEMS IN MIND WHEN PARKING:
- DO NOT park on the streets. You will get ticketed or towed.
- DO NOT park in the neighborhoods. Please stay in the main or overflow lots.
- DO NOT block driveways or park in coned-off areas
- DO NOT park on the concrete walkways
- Be kind. All parking lot volunteers need some love.
Elk Grove Aquatics Club Facility Map
Welcome to our sun-drenched and chlorinated shrine to hard work and perseverence! The Elk Grove Aquatics Club and The City of Elk Grove are super proud of this place and everything it represents for the kids who call it home as well as the surrouding community.
Please be mindful of off-limits areas. These need to remain clear for the safety of the athletes Be especially mindful of the following:
- The athlete entry/exit gate is on the avenue near the official’s lounge. Please enter and exit only through this gate.
- The recreation pool and waterslide are closed during the meet and will open up only upon completion of the finals session on Saturday, August 6 for the WZAG AFTER PARTY!
- The athlete villages, competition and warmup decks are CLOSED TO SPECTATORS. Only athletes, coaches and volunteers are allowed on deck. Spectators access is limited to the vendor alley, main concourse and bleachers only.
- Athlete locker rooms are located behind the warmup pool in the administrative building
- If the pool deck behind the coachs’ tables are too crowded, you can take John Charles Parkway behind the storage building for easy transit between Even and Odd starting blocks.
- Please RESPECT THE FACILITY. We’re super proud of the place and would appreciate your help keeping it clean and litter free.
Early Warmups
Lane times will be available early morning for long course and in the evening short course August 1&2 to accommodate traveling teams that would like an early look at the facility and to get a feel for the water. Use the tool below to reserve your times. Be sure you enter your LSC Team Name when making your appointment. First come, first served.
Team Logos
Each team area will b e marked with a banner with a custom designed logo in keeping with the meet theme of Saturday Morning Cartoons! Every athlete will also get stickers to keep or trade! Wait…there’s MORE…The apparel booth will have limited quantities of logos you can put on customizable t-shirts and hoodies! Time to bring the fun.
